Description
This forest collection bundles together three of my most popular complete forest unit studies, all centered around the theme of forests! It includes my Forest Ecology Unit, Math in the Forest Unit, and Trees Unit! This curriculum collection includes dozens of activities covering STEM topics including geometry, plant biology, ecology, environmental science, unit conversions, measurements, and more. All three units include tons of activities, games, worksheets, posters, flashcards, & more.
Age Range: I created these forest units with universal design and mixed-age group classrooms in mind (e.g., homeschool, science camps)! Most of the materials will be crowd-pleasers among many ages: such as building your own forest food webs, measuring tree circumference, and recognizing the different types of symbiotic relationships in the forest! However, just a few activities are tailored to more specific age groups (e.g., tree height trigonometry activities for middle and high schoolers; three-part animal flashcards for early childhood).
