Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where can I purchase your materials?

A: My environmental science units and bundles are available in my shop. I also sell “a la carte” posters, flashcards, and mini-studies on Etsy and TpT.

Q: What age group are these materials for?

A: My materials are created with mixed-age group classrooms and universal design in mind. In my shop, you will find a range of materials appropriate for several different age groups, from preschool through high school.

Please read each product’s description for more detailed age-range info.

Q: How long do your materials take to teach?

A: That will depend on the resource(s) you purchase, your classroom’s age group(s), and the length of your class periods. In general:

  • Unit: complete set of materials on a topic = about 1 week
  • Mini Study: ideal for review or enrichment = about 1 class period

Q: Can I bundle units or purchase your full collection?

Please visit the bundle section of my shop to see current bundle offerings. Each bundle includes 2 or more units at a discount.

Q: Do you offer a subscription?

Not at this time. However, I am still gauging interest in a subscription option and may offer one in the future. If you are interested, please don’t hesitate to let me know!

For now, please follow me on Facebook or Instagram or subscribe to my email list to stay up-to-date on new unit releases.

Q: Can I pay by check, purchase order, or another method?

A: At this time, all purchases must be made by credit card or PayPal through my shop. When needed, I recommend that educators place their purchase and request reimbursement through their school or organization. Thanks for understanding!

Q: Can I make a tax-exempt purchase for my school or nonprofit?

A: My website shop doesn’t currently support tax-exempt checkout. However, qualifying organizations can purchase my resources tax-free through Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT) by submitting the appropriate documentation to TpT’s customer support. Thanks for your understanding!

Q: Do you sell printed versions?

A: Not at this time. I recommend using a printing service to print my materials.

Q: Do you offer free samples?

A: I do not offer a full-sized free unit at this time. However, I offer some free materials on my free learning resources page, including a free Mushroom Anatomy Mini Study.

Q: Do you offer returns or refunds?

A: At this time, I do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges on digital items. However, if you experience any issues with your purchase, please contact me. For more information, read my return policy.

Q: How can I learn about upcoming sales, freebies, and new units?

A: Follow me on Facebook or Instagram or subscribe to my email list to learn about upcoming sales, giveaways, and new resource releases.

Q: How many times can I print these learning resources?

A: You may print these materials for personal and single-classroom use as many times as you like!

Q: Can I share my purchased files with my friends or co-workers?

A: Please refrain from reselling, redistributing, sharing, or altering these materials or the artwork within them. For example, please do not send digital files or printed copies to your friends/co-workers.

If you have co-workers or friends who want to use my materials, kindly direct them to my website to purchase their own licenses. Giving away copies of my materials violates the license and hurts my small business and mission of providing high-quality, affordable environmental science learning materials. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation! Please contact me with any questions.

Q: Can I use your materials for my homeschool co-op?

A: In most cases, yes! Typically, for homeschool co-ops, a single license covers your use. The exception is if you wish to distribute the materials to other parents or educators specifically for use in their own teaching outside of your co-op event. In that case, multiple licenses would be needed (one license per educator or family).

Q: Can I purchase multiple licenses for my school or organization?

A: Absolutely! Simply edit the quantity of each unit at checkout to reflect the number of licenses that you would like to purchase. You will need 1 license per classroom (or per educator).

Reach out to me if you have questions about purchasing multiple licenses for your school or organization, or to give as gifts to friends/co-workers!

Q: Where can I find references and additional online resources for your units?

A: For each of my units, I put together a list of links to additional online resources and references. Click here to view these pages.

Q: Where do you get your artwork?

A: I create all of the artwork in my learning resources myself! To purchase artwork or commission custom illustrations, contact me or click here to learn more about commissions.

Q: May I use your artwork in my publication or project?

A: I’m happy you like my artwork, but first, please reach out to inquire about permission and pricing.

Q: Do you offer custom illustrations?

A: Yes! Learn more here or view my portfolio.
